Gpad G10 Android TabletWell it looks like Augen’s Gentouch 78 tablet is getting a new rival, the Gpad G10. The Gentouch 78 is the Android tablet that made waves last week when it was annouced it was selling at K-mart stores in Florida for $150. Now comes along a challenger the 7-inch Gpad G10 that to be fair is a bit more expensive but also has the Gentouch 78 beat in important areas.

The Gpad G10 sells for $185(when it’s available) comes with Android 2.1 OS as well as a 7-inch LCD touchscreen just like the Augen tablet but it the Gpad does add multi-touch recognition for the G10. You can see the full table comparison of specifications below. Right now though the Gpad is sold out at the Pandawill online store, so if you are interested you will need to look elsewhere for now. On the Pandawill site it doesn’t say when the Gpad G10 will be back in stock. [Pandawill]

Everyone and their brother has announced an Android tablet. Big deal. If you can’t get one in your hands, does it really matter? Good luck with your business venture.
