StreamTV a small Philadelphia based company has come up with their very own 7-inch tablet. The StreamTV Elocity A7 is it’s name and Android 2.2 is going to be the OS you’ll find in the tablet when it begins to ship in October. The Elocity is going to be offered tender price of $399 and for that you get the following features.
The Elocity A7 comes with a 7-inch screen that offers 800×400 pixel resolution and capacitive multi-touch experience–which has been described by Engadget as very responsive–. The tablet comes with a front facing 1.3 MP camera which is meant for making video calls. The A7 also features the Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC, which allows for super-smooth playback for 1080p HD videos, as well as gaming and you can also stream 1080p HD video to an HDTV via the HDMI output port outfitted on the A7 super-smooth as well. This tablet is Wi-Fi and 3G capable and it comes with 1x USB port, 1x SD card slot and 1x HDMI port.
The StreamTV Elocity A7 is going to be coming with the GetJar app store pre-loaded due to Google’s Marketplace restrictions. If you are someone who is experienced with tracking down applications this shouldn’t be too much of a problem. However this restriction could turn off some people who are new to Android.
Right now StreamTV plans to offer this Android 2.2 tablet for the price of $399 and they will even include a HDMI cord and a wireless keyboard in the box with the tablet. [Via]

Elocity a7 is not cutting edge anymore. Samsung released new tablet with windows 7 on board, I guess that it’s way better than elocity. Of course if you will be mainly browsing internet, who needs windows features.
