Tuesday, Digitimes seems to be pretty sure of themselves that their info is correct on Acer’s tablet future. They are reporting that in the first Quarter of 2011 Acer will release a 5-inch, 7-inch and 10-inch Android 3.0 tablet. The info they are posting also details that Acer is still in the selection process when it comes to the processors the Android tablets will feature, Snapdragon and Tegra 2 are the two they are still choosing between.
At this time Acer according to Digitimes is still going to be releasing an x86 Intel and Windows 7 tablet but they will only ship that tablet in small quantities to test the market. Some other info is that Acer is currently looking with Compal Electronics and Quanta Computer as possible manufacturers for their tablet devices.
This is a developing topic so be on the lookout for more info on Acer’s tablet future. [Via]
