Archos Android Tablet Offerings Taking Pre-orders Shipping In November

The Archos tablet offerings that were detailed last month and shown off at IFA 2010 are now showing up on B&H Photo on pre-order. Archos unveiled multiple touchscreen devices but the only two that can really be considered a tablet is the 7-inch Archos 70 and the 10.1-inch Archos 101.
The Archos 70 which features a 7-inch (800 x 480) touch screen display comes with Android 2.2 OS installed. The tablet also offers a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 3D Graphics Accelerator, Front VGA Camera, USB port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HDMI port, and Home Streaming with UPnP and Samba to name the main things.
The differences in the models offered by B&H is in the built-in storage. One model that features 8GB Built-In Flash Memory is priced at $274.99. The other model comes with a 250GB hard drive costs $343.00. Each of these will ship in October.

The Archos 101 is the biggest of the touchscreen devices launched by Archos. It features a 10.1″ (1024 x 600) touch screen display, 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 3D Graphics Accelerator, Front VGA Camera MicroSD card slot, USB port, HDMI port, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, the ability to connect a keyboard and mouse and Home Streaming with UPnP and Samba.
The differences in the two models available is with the built-in storage. One model comes with 8GB built-in and goes for $299.99 and the other model comes with 16GB of built-in storage for $349.99. Both ship with Android 2.2 OS when they start to ship in October. [B&H]

I have pre-ordered the Archos 10.1 and cannot wait, I thought it would ship in October……very disappointed it is shipping now in November!!

I pre-ordered too. They said October 8th. I am betting the tablet arrives in December knowing Archos.
