ASUS Eee Pad EP90 8.9-Inch Windows TabletASUS has already announced a few tablets; the 10-inch Eee Pad EP101TC and 12-inch Eee Pad EP121. The ASUS Eee Pad EP90 looks too be the next third tablet that the company will be offering in future along with those just mentioned. The EP90 doesn’t have a release date or even a price at this point and time but that hopefully will change soon.

As of now the ASUS EP90 will feature a  8.9-inch (1024 x 600) touchscreen display; no word on whether it’s resistive or capacitive. The tablet will come with Windows Embedded 7 pre-loaded. The tablet will feature the following storage choices 8GB, 16GB or 32GB SSD (plus 500GB of cloudy storage). The ASUS EP90 will get processing and graphics power from the Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC, which features two 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 cores.

Other things said to be featured in this 8.9-Inch ASUS tablet include; a multi-card reader, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, USB and HDMI connectors, and a battery life of up to 4.5 hours.

Hopefully ASUS can have a sample of the EP90 ready for CES 2011 but we’re not going to hold our breath waiting for that.
