Vodafone Germany Announces Samsung Galaxy Tab Pricing

Vodafone Germany has just announced pricing for the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Tab. The 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet will be available in either a on-contract subsidized version or a non-subsidized off-contract version. The off-contract price through Vodafone Germany is €729,90. The on-contract price for the tablet is €299,90 and you will have to sign a two-year contract for a €35/month data plan.
This pricing is for the 16GB version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. To compare the pricing to the Apple iPad you could get a 32GB Apple iPad Wi-Fi + 3G tablet for just €30 more. Another comparison, Vodafone Spain announced recently they will sell the Galaxy Tab for 199 Euros w/ 18-month contract. The Vodafone Germany team states that the tablet will be available starting November 1st 2010 in their Germany retail shops. [Via]
