HP Slate 500 8.9-inch Windows 7 Professional Tablet Pricing Announced

HP Slate 500 8.9-inch Windows Tablet front angleHP has just officially announced pricing for the HP Slate 500 enterprise tablet. The 8.9-inch tablet runs on an Intel chip and comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional. The HP Slate 500 is aimed at the enterprise and business market so no special OS overlay for Windows 7.

The HP Slate 500 features a 8.9-inch Capacitive touchscreen display (1024 x 600 pixels) with a responsive active Wacom digitizer, a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z530, 2GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, a rear-facing 3MP camera and a front facing VGA camera .

The 8.9-inch tablet also features the Broadcom HD video accelerator port making 1080p HD video playback possible, there is also an HDMI out port on the dock you get for the HP Slate 500. The tablet will ship with Windows 7 Professional pre-loaded all for a whopping $799.[HP] [Via]
