The wait for Acer tablets is almost over, according to the company CEO Gianfranco Lanci. In a interview Lanci spoke on Acer’s tablet plans for the coming future. In the interview Lanci proclaimed that Acer is going to hold a special release event in New York on November 23rd to launch their new line of tablets.
He continued on to say that the company will be offering both Windows tablets and Google Android OS tablets with prices ranging from $299 all the way up to $699. That is all the CEO was willing to give away about the companies plans during the interview. If you wre looking for details like specifications or words on the designs used sorry, Mr.lanci didn’t deliver that.
If you don’t mind unsubstantiated info, some credible speculators on the web are saying Acer will launch a 5-inch, 7-inch and 10-inch form-factor tablet on the 23rd, but that is just speculation at this point. We’ll have to wait and see what happens in the coming weeks hopefully some specs or images will leak from inside Acer. [Via]
