Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Now Available In Nigeria With Free Data For A Year

Samsung Galaxy Tab front and backEtisalat has partnered up with Samsung Electronics West Africa to bring the latest Samsung mobile gadget to Nigeria, the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Etisalat is the first African country to offer the new 7-inch tablet from Samsung. Etisalat is selling the tablet for N125,000, to compare the Apple iPad can be bought in Nigeria for N175,000.

Etisalat offers the Samsung Galaxy Tab in their Experience Centers in Lagos, bundled with a one year free data  access, SMS messaging and voice calling. The freebie offer provides you with “25 minutes of free voice calls, 25 free SMS and 250 megabyte free data access every month for 12 months, with automatic credit on the first day of the month”.

Once customers use up the freebies Etisalat says you can top up your account with more money, so you continue to have wireless access. Also Etisalat doesn’t offer rollover from month to month with their data plans, you have to just use all your minutes and data by the end of the month.[Via]
