The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 Android 2.2 Tablet Is Now Available In The U.S.

The portable ViewSonic ViewPad 7 tablet is finally available for purchase here in the states. The 7-inch tablet is the first 7-inch devices to be launched by ViewSonic for it’s new line if ViewPad products. The ViewPad 7 is on sale online for as low as $456.13 (before S/H and tax).
For your ~$458 you get a 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet with a WVGA (800 x 480) capacitive multi-touch LCD. The tablet has reviewed relatively well with most complaining that it’s priced to high for what you get. The ViewPad 7 features a 600MHz ARM 11 CPU, 512MB NAND flash memory, a microSD slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 3G, GPS, 0.3MP front facing camera, a 3MP rear facing camera and a 320mAH battery that is good for up to 4-6 hours of life.
