ViewSonic ViewPad 10ProAhead of Mobile World Congress 2011 ViewSonic has gone ahead and dropped the dime on a new dual-boot 10-inch tablet coming this year. The ViewSonic ViewPad 10Pro is the official name for the new Intel Oak Trail based tablet. ViewSonic will be gearing this new tablet towards business professionals by offering Windows 7 Professional in addition to Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

At this time ViewSonic already offers a dual-boot 10-inch tablet with the ViewPad 10. From reading the section about the ViewPad 10Pro in the companies press release there was no real detail given on how the new model will differ or improve on the current ViewPad 10 outside of the new ‘Pro’ title added to the model name.

The features that were posted in the press release include Adobe Flash 10.1 support, a WSVGA (1024×600) LED backlit capacitive multi-touch panel, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as a battery life of at least six hours for the tablet. If you just compare those few features with the features for the ViewPad 10 you’ll find they mirror each other for the most part.

First looks at the ViewSonic ViewPad 10Pro will be had on February 14 when ViewSonic will open their MWC both to the public. For now we only have the render image that heads this post for a reference to what the tablet will look like. [Press Release]
