HTC Plans To Sell 1.5 Million Flyer’s This Year, Gadget Makers Android Tablet

HTC is reportedly feeling quite confident about how the public will receive their first Android tablet, the 7-inch HTC Flyer, according to Asian newspaper reports. The Economic Daily News newspaper reports that HTC plans to sell 1.5 million units of the Flyer and make $102 million USD.
The Flyer features Android 2.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense but shortly after the tablet is launched in second quarter of this year it will get an over-the-air upgrade to Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The tablet also offers a 1.5GHz single core Qualcomm processor, a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) touchscreen with stylus support, dual cameras, HSPA+/WCDMA support and a 4000 mAh battery good for up to 4 hours of continuous video playback.
