Kogan TechnologiesThings just got a little more interesting down-under in regard to the affordable tablet market. Kogan Technologies has launched today their first tablet, a 7-inch Google Android 2.2 Froyo powered device.

Kogan has been talking about launching an Android based tablet for some time now, they were expressing their plans before the Apple iPad had even been news, notes the Delimiter a tech site based in Australia. Yes, the Kogan Agora 7″ Tablet PC has been a product very much on the mind of  Kogan founder Ruslan Kogan but it’s only now the stars have aligned.

The idea they have is pretty good however, they really need to give in-depth information about the product–what type of screen–and they really need to have a video demo of a prototype.

Beware, they just changed the specifications from 1024×600 down to 800×480, after I had made my order.

I’m not happy and will be cancelling the order.

I recently used the Liveprice option to buy something of Kogan and I thought it was a great idea and thought I’ve saved myself a few dollars.

Later that night I find the same product again on LivePrice way cheaper than what I paid for.

The Liveprice information the Kogan site states “Customers who get in earliest will receive the best prices”. But when I contacted Kogan they said, I bought in a batch and they are now selling another batch.

So, this statement “”Customers who get in earliest will receive the best prices” from Kogan, is false and misleading.

They are not really giving the best price for the customers who get in early. Shonky hey..

I was given with the option of cancelling my order and buy again in the next batch. Insane…

On top of all this, the specs have been changed since I bought. The word Samsung has gone from the processor spec.

    Shonks
