ViewSonic ViewPad 10s Starts Shipping To Europe Starts At €299 [Android 10-inch Tablet]

A new report states ViewSonic has begun shipping their newest 10-inch Android 2.2 Froyo tablet to European tablet buyers.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 10s is the latest Android based tablet from ViewSonic. The new 10-inch tablet is being offered with a retail price of €299 for Wi-Fi only and €398 for Wi-Fi +3G, according to TCMagazine.
The ViewPad 10s is the follow up to the ViewPad 10 but the 10s takes a different style route than the standard 10. The back of a 10s is glossy plastic and the standard 10 offers metal. For the luxury of a metal back you do pay more for a standard ViewPad 10 than you do for the 10s.
The main technical features included with the ViewPad 10s include the following:
- Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS
- 10-inch LED-backlit (1024 x 600) capacitive touchscreen with G-sensor
- 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU with GeForce ULP graphics
- 512MB of DDR2 memory
- 512MB of flash memory, microSD slot (up to 32GB cards are supported)
- Single USB 2.0 and HDMI ports
- 1.3 mega-pixel web camera
- Stereo sound with two 1.5W speakers
- Up to 6.5 hours of battery life estimated
- Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, 3G (optional)
- Dimensions: 275.5 (W) x 178.5 (H) x 14.5 (D) mm
- Weight: 730 grams
