HTC’s high-priced Jetstream tablet launched on AT&T’s 4G LTE network

The new 10.1-inch tablet on the block is the HTC Jetstream, the second Android tablet from HTC but the first Honeycomb tablet.
With the new Jetsream HTC has proved that they can design an attractive 10.1-inch tablet just as easily as they can a 7-inch model (HTC Flyer). However HTC has also created a tablet that’s very expensive, again, but the Jetstream is taking it to a new level.
You see this tablet is available today at AT&T Wireless only due to the tablet being available in a 4G LTE flavor only. At AT&T the tablet sells for $699.99 with a two-year contract agreement that includes data plans which start at $35 for 3G of monthly data. However if you want no lengthy contract agreements (wouldn’t blame you) the Jetstream’s price shoots up to $849.99 at AT&T, pay-as-you-go 4G LTE data starts at $14.99/month for 250 MB of data.
At those prices the HTC Jetstream won’t be a top seller, as we’ve seen in the past with the Android Honeycomb equipped Motorola XOOM high-prices aren’t good if you want to move units.
