Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet is already starting to catch fire on pre-order

Amazon Kindle Fire tops pre-order salesAmazon and their $199 Kindle Fire tablet are going to change the tablet market this November when the tablet starts to ship. It’s already being predicted that Amazon will sell more than 15 million models through 2013, but that’s only an analyst’s prediction. To get to the real numbers of what’s happening now all you need to do is go to Amazon.com, where the tablet is available exclusively for pre-order.

Once at Amazon.com you’ll just need to head to the Laptops, Tablets & Netbooks section and look at the best sellers list for tablets, there you’ll see the Amazon Kindle Fire (that’s still available for pre-orders only) is at the top of chart.

It’s being reported that Amazon has managed to clock 95,000 pre-orders since adding the tablet to their Amazon.com product catalog last week. Keep in mind now that Amazon has already stated the Kindle Fire tablet will become full available for shipment on November 15, 2011, that’s more than one month away from now. The Amazon.com shopping community (the largest online) is very eager for this tablet, it will be interesting to see how many more buy the Kindle Fire in November.

If All goes well for Amazon the Kindle Fire could set off a huge price correction in the non-iPad tablet market. Already we’ve seen HTC and RIM tablets prices dropped drastically at retailer Best Buy, as the Kindle Fire’s release date rolls around (coincidentally right in the heat of the holiday shopping season) I expect to see more Android tablets put on sale.

The Kindle Fire apparently only cost $150 to make so they’re starting off with a $50 profit. Add in the app, book and product sales over the long haul and Amazon will do nicely. http://www.kindlefireforums.com
