In introducing the new Iconia Tab A700 tablet Acer has introduced a new 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 resolution LCD. The new display has enough pixels to provide any user with the ability to watch Full HD 1080p video content without missing anything. Acer has also equipped the new tablet with a quad-core ARM processor from Nvidia, the 1.3GHz Tegra 3 with GeForce graphics.
The new Acer Iconia Tab A700 is the companies highest spec. Android tablet yet, however you should expect it to be their most expensive model. Acer says the new tablet that features a quad-core process, 1920×1200 resolution touchscreen, Wi-Fi and 32GB of built-in storage will cost consumers $449.99 USD.
Currently Acer is accepting pre-orders for the 32GB Wi-Fi Acer Iconia Tab A700 in two colors, Black (A700-10k32u) and Silver (A700-10s32u), through their own website to US customers. The release date isn’t firm at this time, but we suspect Acer is just about ready to release the premium A700 to the general market shortly.
