I tried to use my Apple iPad for work but the IOS limitation to uploading text, postscript, MSWord and Excel file into my iPad. Because some of the documents are proprietary I cannot put these files on a server like DropBox. There is only a poor "Bamboo" hand writing application. I need to take notes and would like those notes to be converted to text. iPad can't seem to do those things; it's maddening. Running a full Windows OS on something like the Asus B121 Slate seems to be the most practical approach to do what I want for my work. But I am very disappointed by the fairly poor display resolution of this device. I will not buy it until I can get iPad's resolution of 2048-by-1536-pixel at 264 pixels per inch (ppi) or better. How come the manufacturers use yesterday’s display technologies? What display limitations are due to Intel’s video controller used with the i5 processors.? Do some of the multi-core Arm architectures provide a better platform than Asus’s current B121 choice?

The B121 looks pretty good.
