MSI has now made it known that they are jumping off the Android 2.2 bandwagon for their 2011 tablet the Wind Pad. The company will instead make use of the yet released Android 3.0 OS, Google is in the final stages of getting 3.0 ready currently.
The MSI Wind Pad is expected to come with the Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC processor under the hood and offer support for Flash. The 10.1-inch tablet is also expect to feature USB and HDMI outputs, a built-in webcam, and carry a price tag that is under $500.
As for a MSI Windows tablet that will also be coming in 2011. Right now the Windows tablet looks to feature a 10-inch display and run on an Intel Oak Trail platform processor and that is about all that is known at the moment. Expect more info about both the Android and Windows tablets at CES 2011 in January.[Via]
