Samsung Electronics set out to boast their tablet portfolio in 2011. Back in 2010 the company had time enough to launch just one tablet, the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab. However in 2011 the company unveiled three tablet devices with two being outright slates, the other a hybrid.
The Korean manufacturer planned to release all three but at this time they have managed to release the 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 only. The other slate the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and the lone hybrid the Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series.
Today the Fall product line-up for Verizon Wireless has been leaked, included in the long list of new phones is one 4G LTE Samsung tablet. The tablet might be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 but the Verizon listing calls the tablet ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab P8′.
At this time the Samsung Galaxy Tab P8 is an unknown tablet that Samsung has not unveiled and nobody has any info for.
I’ll tell you why I think the P8 is really the Tab 8.9, Samsung Mobile president JK Shin said a 4G version of the Tab 8.9 would launch later this year along with a 4G version of the Tab 10.1. Verizon Wireless recently launched the 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it only makes sense that in November the 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 would launch on the network as well.
